As a newborn photographer, I totally rely on future parents for the good booking of their newborn photoshoot. As a future parent, we do not really realize how much their newborn will change during the first 15 days. For the newborn photoshoot to be done in the best conditions, the newborn must be sleeping to put him in the poses you can see in my portfolio. Of course, every baby is unique and parents are always a wonderful help to best understand their baby.
For a newborn photo session, the best is to book my services before your term so that you do not have any bad surprise after his/her birth as my schedule gets quickly full. Unfortunately, we sometimes forget about booking a baby photographer as there are so many things coming together around the term date. The problem is, to have the most relaxing newbonr photoshoot, it has to take place with a baby between 4 and 10 days old. After 15 days, your baby will be less curly and more importantly more active and less sleepy, which make give us a harder time to get similar poses to those that you can find in my newborn photographer portfolio. Having that in mind, you can still book a baby photosession but you have to stay conscious about those differencies. Therefore, if you are pregnant, do not hesitate to contact me before your term so that we can calmly organize the newborn photo session.
As a newborn photographer and a wedding photographer, I am able to follow the couples through different steps of their family life. If you remember the beautiful wedding day of Elise and Antoine, you must recall this couple was expecting a wonderful event. This is therefore with no small joy that I accepted to photograph their lovely new addition to the family when they asked me if I could be their newborn photographer. A renewed confidence I am really honored about! Therefore, I was happy to photograph the beautiful Léonard 11 days after his birth.
Luaca is a wondeful newborn I had the chance to meet for his newborn photo session in Lausanne with Sabrina and Cédric, his parents, who you already know from their maternity photoshoot in the swiss Lavaux. The newborn photoshoot was meant to be really fun, as his father plays american football and also thanks to the family’s pet Gibson that really took care of their baby. I love to see how pets include fastly the newcomer in the family and look after him spontaneously. All that to say that a newborn photo session is always prepared with the parents to determine their expectations in the photos that should be created for their lasting memories in pictures, turning every newborn photo session into a personalized experience for the family.
After the pregnancy photoshoot of her lovely family, I have been able to meet the newest addition in the family, Eloise Rose. Such a cute baby that I photographed 11 days after her birth. Her whole family was gathering around her birth and it was a real pleasure to accompany them through this important step in their family history. Antonella, Eloise Rose’s big sister, was wonderfully helpful to take care of her little sister during this baby photoshoot.
